Seven years of coverage on every WORKS by JD project. Not one year, like most contractors offer. Seven. Because we build work we're proud to put our name on — for a long time.
The standard 1-year contractor warranty is an industry minimum — it barely covers the time it takes for workmanship issues to surface. Most failures in a renovation happen in years two through five, when grout cracks, tile lifts, cabinetry shifts, or waterproofing fails. A 1-year warranty doesn't cover any of that.
We offer 7 years because we know the failures won't come. We've been building in Massachusetts since 2001, and we build to last — not to the minimum. The 7-Year Warranty isn't a marketing claim. It's the economic outcome of building correctly the first time.
Jesse DeBenedictis has four NARI certifications, including CKBR and CRPM — the most rigorous credentials in the remodeling industry. Those certifications require peer review of completed projects. You don't get them and then build sloppy work.
These items are not covered by the WORKS workmanship warranty — but they're either covered by manufacturer warranties or fall outside of construction liability:
WORKS registers all product manufacturer warranties at project close and manages them on your behalf. If a product fails — a Brizo faucet, a Kohler tub, a Marvin window — we coordinate the warranty claim with the manufacturer, at no cost to you.
Email or call WORKS directly to describe the issue. No forms, no third parties, no call centers — you reach Jesse or your project manager directly.
We schedule an in-person visit within 5 business days to inspect the issue, determine cause, and confirm warranty applicability.
If covered, WORKS remedies the issue at no charge — scheduling, materials, and labor included. We handle manufacturer warranty claims too.
All warranty service is documented in your project file and our systems. Full transparency throughout.
The 7-Year Warranty is backed by 24 years of business in Massachusetts and four NARI certifications. We're not going anywhere, and our work isn't either.
